Whew! Welcome to another week! Thanks so much for all the hits last week and all the comments! I have not had time to read through them all completely - so first thing - bear in mind I did not write that you had to guess correctly - any of the items - I just put that you had to GUESS!! So I included every one that guessed - then I picked three random numbers before I ever looked at the guesses and counted through them all for the winners - that was a crazy way to do the picking because it took awhile! So I have three winners and they are:
Wilda C
Genia B and
Mavis - my sister in law - and trust me - I was as surprised as she will be that it was her number that I picked but I'm tickled to be sending some free product to her too!!!
Now note that I could not place the order for the new product at Leadership, as I had planned, but I am sending out an order tomorrow morning so the day I get the new product in I will send it to you either through the mail or in person - Wilda and Mavis - I do believe I will be sending yours through the mail as I'm not planning any trips to Washington or Michigan any time soon!!! Mavis would like some snow - I say let's pack this stuff up and send it to Seattle to make her happy!
Now I did tell you that I would send a picture of the way the new product would come - in other words, the "packing" it would be in - so I've posted two of the treats that it will come in - ofcourse there is candy in this instead of the new product because I don't have the new product yet!!!
These little fellas were tricky to photograph because they kept leaning one way or the other - I love the heart - That is the rose folder on the front of it - and ofcourse scalloped edge white paper put around it to make the ruffle look - now the free product samples will be bagged in small bags and sent to the three ladies - so they will get a favor sample as well as new product sample! For those of you that are local - I will be offering a treat class and these two will be part of that class. If you want to be on my email list to get information on this then be sure to click on the button on the side to email me.
If there was something that you had a specific question about on the new product - also ask - most of you were close to right on everything - although I've been giving Bev a hard time about the little beads she said she saw!!! I'm not sure where she was seeing those things but they just weren't there - however, there was lots of glitter there!
Also - for the record, Leadership was the most wonderful event ever as a Demonstrator for me - lots of good business advice and new ideas. I stayed with fellow Remarkable, Jill Hilliard, who is a jewel - we giggled and laughed every day and had some crazy stories to share! WE both tend to be high energy people so it was good for us to burn a little of that off walking to the convention center every morning. We were about a 15 - 20 minute brisk walk away and it was a little brisk outside - usually 50 degrees and yes, I know, that is not brisk here - but it is in Phoenix. I want to show you a picture of all the goodies I brought home with me.
Picture is lousy - but you can see three stamp sets and one in the green wrapping - which is a kitchen towel, so that was four stamp sets that I received, one of which I won from the Prize patrol. The bags are great - I love them - they say LOVE What you Do on the front and for myself this is so very true - I love this job and would seriously hate having to give it up, it is a constant source of joy for me. The brightly colored shaker was from the Manager's reception, along with a shawl that is peeking out from behind the one stamp set - in blue on the right. We were also to use that at the Manager's reception.
The Manager's reception is for Managers and above only and it is a real treat to attend. This years' was a Mexican Rodeo Fiesta. We arrived at this rodeo and I guess ranch is what they would call it. The courtyard was full with people fixing all sorts of appetizers, many of which I could not remember the name for but there were chips and fresh salsa and homemade tortillas, literally fried on the grill there. The meal was fabulous and everything was all decorated. Only down thing all evening was during the rodeo - one of the riders, doing the "pass of death" on a horse - fell and broke his leg - so they stopped the rodeo and called an ambulance to take him from the arena and sent us all to supper!
It was just a great time for all of us. Such a great time visiting with fellow teammates- my upline Jan Wakeland, is one smart lady - she knows that as she establishes friendships with all of us that we will work hard to stay active as demonstrators so we do not lose touch with all these ladies! They are truly a joy to spend time with. Enough blabbering!!! Off to get to work and prepare for hostess group tonight and stamp camp tomorrow night. Thanks so very much for stopping by here!
