Well, my Valentine added a comment to Saturday's post! He must have felt bad because I gave him a hard time about the hike up the Sugar Hill! Bless his heart. We didn't walk up the hill yesterday at all - I'll have to report later on collecting sap.
However, first, the cards for today - these were the cards that we had for the class on Saturday. The first one was for a teenager - got the idea from Stampin Connection, a site available to demonstrators. I adjusted it to make it look more like a teens card.
I used one of our shaker frames but when I put the acetate on the top I realized that I had forgotten to put the tiny little hearts in it! So that was it - no 2nd chance there. This looks bright enough for a teen.
Then my card that I used for my Leadership secret sister, changed a little for class:
I just love this one. I used the Fresh Vintage sale a bration stamp set for free. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, gray and pretty in pink. Ofcourse there's the twittlepated designer paper. I had to order another pack of that stuff yesterday too. Already gone through two!
Tomorrow I'll share the treat ideas I've done for this class and a few for the grandsons. Several more items to show this week.
Last night I heard the owls here in the back yard. Seemed funny that I had just mentioned them on SAturday's post and then heard them. February is the month they start nesting so we are hoping that since they were hanging around here - maybe they were looking for a home. If so, we'll not have any mice at all - that would be great. Well, I have one more thing to show you today. Steve wanted me to try a new recipe yesterday - Creamy Swiss Onion Soup because we have lots of sweet onions that we raised in the freezer. I also made Sweet Onion Muffins. This was the best tasting soup we've had here in awhile and we have lots of homemade soups! This will be a repeat for sure:
this was really yummy and I made my own bread croutons too. Wish we had "smell a blog" because the house smelled wonderful. That's all - see you tomorrow.

Mmmmm - I love homemade soup. The added bonus - lower sodium. I may raid your freezer!
Your pictures look very professional.
