As promised a few days ago, here are one of the cards and one of the treats that I'll be sending out to the grandsons in Iowa. This first one is for little Zadok - he's the one that had a monster birthday cake bake in the summer. Consequently, the monster Valentine card as well as treat holder, seemed like a good idea. Thanks Gina for showing me the idea - this is made using the owl punch. Cute.
I thought these were super bright colors that Zadok would like. Note that I've used the greeting from the Just my Type stamp set. Seemed fitting. Ofcourse it is doubtful that he'll even notice what these look like - he'll just be looking for whatever the treats are! Lots of added items on here. The treat container was made from the framelits die and I just punched out two of them and then scored about an inch on the bottom of each one and overlapped them to make a holder. Then I decorated them using the 2 1/2" circle punch and ofcourse the sale a bration paper again. I'm going to wait until next week to put the other treats because I don't want Casey to see them early too! So tomorrow I'll show you the bee projects Cathey and I worked on over the week-end as we prepare speaker gifts for the State Beekeepers Meeting. See you then.

That is really cute. Great idea!
