Yesterday was my hostess day for my ladies - I invite them all here one day every other month and they make three cards. We had a great day yesterday. I managed to actually get some food made for them this time - it is a little tricky with ladies arriving at different times, but want to try to do this as often as I can. I just enjoy having them here.
Wanted to share one of the cards that they did. I got this idea at Leadership conference and tried it myself - then thought I'd skip it because it has butterflies and I'm not fan of butterflies - on cards - that is - but this one grew on me as the day progressed.
Well, sorry - this looked good and clear - but I must have not adjusted correctly - oops - there is still a small learning curve - but it is getting better. I did not take a 2nd picture - so it is what it is. This was Terri D's version of the card - like her little changes. The ladies did several different things on their cards, giving them their own personality. They also brought several samples for me to see - and I'll share those tomorrow. I love it when they bring cards that they have made.
Another shot from San Antonio - don't believe I actually need to identify this - even if you've never seen it - you should know exactly what it is.
We did not have the time to watch the movie, probably something I'll always wish I'd done - but it was great to see this - in my mind, I pictured this area with much taller walls and much more of a challenge to pentrate - the people inside the walls of the Alamo - did not stand a chance.

Yippee, butterflies! I am so happy to see you make a card with butterflies on it:) Can't wait to get my sample of this so I can "reporduce" it or modify it too:)

Very nice card. I do like the butterflies on it. I'll have to check it out in person.
