Welcome to the Remarkables Blog Tour! If this is your first visit to my blog I'd love it if you would book mark this so you can come back and visit again! You may have arrived here by way of Heidi Davenport's blog at http://heididavenport.blogspot.com . Hope you enjoy your visit here. My choice for the Blog Tour was to use Autumn Days - one of my new favorites. You will see that there are three samples featured here
I chose to use my favorites in the new In Colors: Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango. The images are stamped in Dusty Durango (the pheasants) and the background wheat is in Crushed Curry. I also used the new polka dot ribbon in Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry - just love these ribbons. The Little Candy box is made using the Sizzix machine and using the Scallop Envelop Die cut on page 198 of the new catalog and the stamp set can be found on page 92.
Here's a closer look at the two cards. You can see that I also used the Sizzix Texture Plates on the card above which are found on page 195 of the new catalog.
The designer paper used on the card on the right is Tall Tales. I just love these fall colors - the Earthy colors have always been my favorites. Then there is one more little surprise to add to this post:
I decided to purchase the rub ons found on page 177, called Autumn Harvest - these coordinate with this stamp set. Tried a couple of things with the rub-ons - but the thing I liked best is the candle below. This was just the cheap, Dollar Store candle but this would make a great gift to give to someone. I got this picture pretty tight - but it does look really nice up close and personal! I hope you enjoy the Blog Tour today - and that you stop back often to many of these talented ladies.
The next stop on the tour is Barbara Holicky's blog at http://barbsinkpad.typepad.com be sure to check out her blog to see her great samples.
Should the links not work you can always return to www.remarkablecreations.typepad.com to catch the rest of the stops. Hope you enjoy your Tour.

Great card today. I took to tour and found a lot of very creative people. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery so I may flatter some of these people and use their ideas!

Well with just a small lunch break I've been blog hoppin' all morning (don't tell my manager). There are some neat ideas out there but nothing any more creative than our very own demonstrator. Sure felt like EVERYONE loves the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP - guess I'll need to add that to my next purchase.
Have a great day! I'll have to actually work now this afternoon.

I love the candle, I can't believe that you just rubbed it on the candle & done. So much easier than the tissue paper way.
Very Nice

I loved your Autumn Days cards...especially the one with the shafts of wheat spread out behind the pheasant! Your color choices are fantastic, too!
Thanks!
